They are well-constructed and incredibly comfortable on the streets of NYC. They are on the narrow side, however, both in the shaft and the foot. I sized up half a size (usually a reliable 7.5, got these in 8) and they are perfect with tights or dress socks. I am able to tuck skinny jeans into them but I have pretty slender calves; they do have elastic, so there is some give, but not a ton. Very happy with my choice.
