She seems to be "like the rest of us". She doesn't anticipate or expect perfection and understands that everyone comes to the practice with a different level of fitness or experience. This DVD has really added to my at home practice. Having the option of a ten minute, twenty minute, or forty minute yoga routine means that I can do something every day. Quite often we think we are less than perfect if we don't attend an hour or a ninety minute class. Not true! Anytime we can center ourselves with a few poses, we are improving our practice. The Bare Bones Yoga DVD allows me to practice yoga at home when my little ones are fast asleep. I have owned many yoga DVDs in my lifetime, but this is the only one I watch consistently. I love how I can choose to practice for 40, 20 or 10-minutes depending on how I am feeling. I also appreciate that there is no music in the background of this DVD, and that the instructor's voice is relaxing and energetic at the same time. Sometimes I put on my own music if I feel like adding it to the practice. I strongly recommend this DVD if you are looking to practice yoga in the comforts of your own home.
